1. Grind and Seal Technique: This is a cost-effective method that offers a beautiful medium aggregate reveal. Post grinding, we seal the floor with an acrylic sealer that beautifies it, giving it a glossy, luxurious finish, reminiscent of a European villa.

2. Full Mechanical Polish: This 11-step dry polish process can take several days or even weeks to complete.  After several grinding passes and following a meticulous process of filling cracks and spalls, pit grouting, densification, optional coloring, and two burnishing steps, the final result shines like a slab of granite. It's an elegant choice for outdoor patios and office spaces alike.

3. RetroPlate System: Better than a grind and seal but more affordable than a full mechanical polish. As certified installers, we offer a 20-year warranty with this system. The RetroPlate method involves wet-grinding and dry-polishing, plus the use of a chemical hardener that densifies the concrete, enhancing its durability and stain resistance. While very beautiful, this is not a high-end polish. You'll typically see RetroPlate floors in retail settings like grocery stores, auto parts stores, etc. Smallcrete is one of a handful of installers nationwide that has scaled this system successfully to residential. We are now doing about 10 to 12 RetroPlate installs per year.

4. Ashford Formula: For new commercial constructions, this effective solution is a liquid densifier and sealer that provides a hard, dense surface resistant to dust, water, and staining. It’s an excellent choice for a range of commercial and industrial applications like truck docks, data centers and warehouses.

5. Cream Polishing: This is for brand-new slabs only. We don't use any metals and simply wet-polish the existing cream with ceramics and copper resins. We've installed this floor with grey dye in several modern million-dollar homes.
